Graphic Design

Thanks to John Wilson for allowing me to work with him on the logo for the upcoming Annual Louisiana Sports and Fitness Festival. Check out the logo designed by David Eakin at Troop Media. John was looking for a design that could be carried from year to year and would incorporate a little local flavor.
 

One day in early December 2010, I received an email from Rev. Paul Hardin, a pastor for an upcoming church in Houston, Texas - Dominion Church International. Rev. Paul introduced himself and stated that he ran across a web site designed by Troop Media and he really liked it - http://www.christianworld.cc

He would commence by stating that he was searching for an online solution for his ministry, which Troop Media surely provides. But before we embarked on what is going to be one awesome website, Dominion Church International needed a new logo. Rev. Paul was looking for a brand that was symbolic, a little edgy and progressive. After sketching my brains out over the course of several days, and providing Rev Paul with numerous concepts and logo solutions, he picked what you see below... I will post the other contending logos as soon as I scan them.

Hydralube, a Lake Charles Louisiana based machine services company, has hired Troop Media to create a logo design for their newly acquired company - HydraTech Machine Services. Using the base from the Hydralube logo (http://www.hydra-lube.net), we adjusted the color scheme and added a 3 dimensional gear to the logo to better represent their core business. The client absolutely loved the direction of the logo!
